A friend of mine often goes to France and I asked her to bring me a bottle of violet syrup. When she came back and gave it to me, I had to try it and made some muffins with buttercream. I hoped the cream would turn violet but it stayed light although the syrup has a wonderful color. But nevertheless it tasted great, and I really can recommend this syrup (by Monin) to you. Eine Freundin von mir fährt öfters nach Frankreich und ich habe sie gefragt, ob sie mir eine Flasche Veilchensirup mitbringen kann. Als sie zurückkam und ihn mir gegeben hat, musste ich ihn sofort probieren und habe Muffins mit Buttercreme gemacht. Ich hatte gehofft, dass die Creme violett wird, aber sie blieb hell, obwohl der Sirup eine wunderschöne Farbe hat. Trotzdem hat es sehr lecker geschmeckt und ich kann euch wirklich den Sirup (von Monin) empfehlen.
