Hey everyone, on Friday some friends and me went to IKEA for shopping. Among other pretty and nice things I bought some white magazine files. Of course they wanted to be decorated ... the idea was to make two 'Nightmare before Christmas' inspired ones, so I made a little sketch and started coloring them with acrylic paint. It was a lot of work and I painted them simultaneously so the first layer on one file was able to dry while I started paiting the second file. All in all it took about two hours until they were finished. I'm happy with the result and I hope you like it, too.
Hey, am Freitag waren ein paar Freunde und ich bei IKEA zum einkaufen. Neben anderen schönen Sachen habe ich weiße Zeitschriftensammler gekauft. Natürlich wollten sie dekoriert werden ... die Idee war, zwei 'Nightmare before Christmas' inspirierte Sammler zu machen, also zeichnete ich eine kleine Skizze und fing an, die Sammler mit Acrylfarbe zu bemalen. Es war eine Menge Arbeit und ich habe sie gleichzeitig bemalt, so, dass die erste Schicht auf dem einen Sammler trocknen konnte, während ich angefangen habe, den zweiten zu bemalen. Alles in allem hat es etwa zwei Stunden geadauert, bis sie fertig waren. Ich bin glücklich mit dem Ergebnis und ich hoffe es gefällt euch auch.
