Popcorn Cake

When I saw the popcorn cake on cookies and cups, I definitly wanted to do a popcorn cake, too. But it is always the same thing: you see such a good looking recipe and you say 'I'll do this', but on one day there is not enough time on the next day you notice that you have no cooking choclate ... you know what I mean?Two weeks ago I finally had my chance to try the cake because of a friend's birthday. Instead of butter and marshmallows I melted white and black choclate (first I wanted to take just white choclate but I hadn't enough of it). Nevertheless It tasted really good and everyone liked it.

Als ich den Popcornkuchen auf cookies and cups gesehen habe, wusste ich dass ich diesen Kuchen unbedingt machen musste. Aber es ist immer dasselbe: Man sieht ein solch gut aussehendes Rezept und sagt "Das mache ich", aber am einen Tag hat man nicht genug Zeit, am nächsten Tag stellt man fest, dass man nicht genug Backschokolade da hat ... wisst ihr was ich meine?

Vor zwei Wochen hatte ich endlich die Chance den Kuchen auszuprobieren, da eine Freundin von mir Geburtstag hatte. Anstatt Butter und Marshmallows habe ich weiße und braune Schokolade geschmolzen (erst wollte ich nur weiße Schoko nehmen, aber ich hatte nicht genug da). Es hat trotzdem sehr gut geschmeckt und jedem gefiel es.
