The Sweetness at the Bottom of the Pie

Here's one of my latest drawings. I used black ink and I was inspired by the german book cover of 'The Sweetness at the Bottom of the Pie' by Alan Bradley. I think the german cover is prettier than the original one. But not just the cover is great ... I had so much fun while reading this book and I just can recommend it ;)
I just can't wait to read the second book called 'The Weed That Strings the Hangman’s Bag'.

Dies ist eins meiner neusten Zeichnungen. Ich habe schwarze Tinte verwendet und war inspiriert vom deutschen Buchcover von "Mord im Gurkenbeet" (orig.: 'The Sweetness at the Bottom of the Pie') von Alan Bradley. Ich finde das deutsche Cover schöner als das Original. Aber nicht nur das Cover ist super ... ich hatte sehr viel Spaß während ich das Buch gelesen habe und ich kann es nur empfehlen ;)
Ich kann es kaum erwarten das zweite Buch mit dem Namen "Mord ist kein Kinderspiel" (orig.: 'The Weed That Strings the Hangman’s Bag') zu lesen.
